Pastor Luke McKinney began serving as the senior pastor at First Baptist in 2008. Previously, he served as an associate pastor in DeLand, FL. He and his beautiful wife Racheal have three boys - Isaac Luke, Noah Duncan, and Andrew Maddux.

Luke grew up in Orange Park, FL and graduated from Samford University with a bachelor of arts degree with a major in religion, from Biola University with a master of arts in Christian apologetics, and from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity.

Pastor Joe Lemmons came on staff at First Baptist Church in November of 2008. Joe oversees the nursery ministry through college ministry; as well as, our relate small groups. Joe also oversees the facilities including the janitorial and maintenance staff.

Joe grew up in southern middle Tennessee and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree is communications. In 2008 he completed his Masters of Divinity from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Joe has served on staff at churches in Tennessee and Florida. He and his wife Becky have a beautiful little girl named Madelynn (Madie) Grace and are expecting their second child in February.

Pastor Ken Sherman joined the First Baptist Church staff in June of 2010. In addition to being the Music Pastor, Ken oversees the Community Ministries and IT departments.

A graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Music and Worship Studies. He and his wife, Katie, were married June 2006, and in April of 2010, God blessed their family with a son, Ethan.
